Every adventure begins with a single step... well... or a single photo.
Since we'll be taking the "traditional" route from Chicago to Santa Monica, we begin our Route 66 trip at the symbolic "start" near the corner of W. Adams St. and Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago.
Looks like a fine day...........Go get your kicks!

Have fun and safe travels. Traveling Route 66 is on my bucket list, so I'll be following your adventures and looking forward to my own travels n a few years. (Come on retirement...!)
